Being the Chairman of the 250 bedded Meenakshi Hospital, Tanjore, and 1000 bedded Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai, my vision has always been to combine world class healthcare at affordable prices to people who need it the most. Today, through persistent endeavors and a dedicated staff, Meenakshi Hospital has set multiple precedents in terms of surgical procedures and numbers. I believe in philanthropy and have overseen over 150 free heart surgeries as the Director of Kid Aid Foundation, an NGO. I have been an active member of CII healthcare panel of Tamil Nadu, Healthcare federation of India (NATHEALTH), the National Vice President of the Federation of Hospital Administrators, and a patron member of the Association of Healthcare Providers (India). Managing all these roles at different points in my career has driven me to bring about positive change in the field of medicine both as an educational discipline and profession. I am a C K Prahlad enthusiast and devour books both on management theory and practice as well as medicine.
