Dr. Arpinder Kaur Bansi

Dr Arpinder Kaur Bansi is the Founder and Managing Director of Kaur Values Associates Ltd, an organisation specialising in leadership development and business growth supporting professionals in all service sectors to succeed in senior roles. Arpinder’s passion is to sharpen a leader’s aspirational focus, aligning them to their true leadership
strengths, which results in significantly improved personal growth and work/life balance as well as organisational performance and health. Arpinder was advised at school to “work in a sewing factory until married off”. She ignored this advice and pursued a career in civil engineering instead. She is a chartered civil engineer and has worked at the forefront in the engineering sector for over 20 years holding senior positions both internal to Atkins and on external boards including Birmingham Forward and Digital Birmingham. During her career she overcame many stereotypical barriers on her own personal journey that she now inspires others to make a positive difference in growing a more balanced diverse talent pool as well as creating stronger and more effective leadership boards. Arpinder has been recognised for her leadership development work by several organisations including being awarded “Inspirational Leader in Civil Engineering” by the Institution of Civil Engineers. She currently delivers her own training and coaching programs to a diverse range of organisations that include universities, blue chip companies, housing associations, commerce chambers and SMEs as well as sitting on various committees and supporting various organisations to address the future skill challenges and nurturing inclusive leadership talent at a senior level. She empowers individuals to be better than best whether in their careers or running their business by being true to themselves and reshape the status quo.
