Dolly Singh is a poet and, Founder & Festival Director of Delhi Poetry Festival- India’s largest standalone and multilingual poetry celebration.
She established the festival in 2012 and has been working tirelessly for a decade to curate meaningful content for the public of Delhi-NCR and beyond. She has managed to create a democratic and fearless space for literature lovers who can express themselves without any bias. It is a non-aligned and non-political platform. It can be said without a doubt that DPF under the leadership of Dolly, has brought the poetic legacy of historical city of Delhi once again to the mainstream.
Dolly also runs a women-centric platform- SheScapes that addresses the issues faced by urban women
Besides these, she is instrumental in providing a huge platform for school children that goes by the name of NewLeafMinds where school children get a chance to showcase their talent on competitive basis.
She has curated and edited 4 children’s anthologies of poetry. She has been published widely in several English poetry anthologies.
Her own Coffee Table book- Frozen in a Pause received rave review. She is ready with 3 more of her own projects to be published.
She has been the recipient of Rex Karmaveer award for 3 consecutive years in bronze, silver and gold categories.
Dolly, a fashion designer by profession has her own brand -Dolly Singh Designs for past 18 years.
