Deepika Ahuja is the founder of Deliversmiles, a company aiming to create a harmonious and happier work culture in the corporate sector. Driven by the mission to build resilient and happier humans and having touched innumerable organisations and thousands of individuals, the company has partnered with various colleges as well, as a part of its CSR initiative. She has been selected in the list of “51 Most Fabulous Happiness leaders in the world” by World HRD congress. As an extension to her entrepreneurial venture focussing on happiness, she has authored the book “Demystifying happiness” and has garnered a lot of appreciation from the readers. Her extensive body of work encompasses her role as the India Ambassador for global organizations like ‘365give’ and ‘Charter for compassion’ and co-lead for International association of Facilitators, Bangalore chapter. Her initiative of providing home-cooked breakfast every day to underprivileged schools in Bangalore has been running successfully for the last two years. The BEET Foundation has awarded the team as best volunteering team in Education support sector in Bangalore. As a changemaker, she is currently fighting for the rights of adoptive parents with regards to adoption leaves under the Maternity Act. She resides in Bangalore with her husband and two children – 10-year-old biological son and a 3-year-old heart daughter. She believes that happiness is a skill that can be developed through practice and made a way of life, irrespective of what life deals us.
