Deepa Walawalkar

I have over 12 years of professional experience in capacity building, strategic consulting, need identification, independent assessments, financial modelling, valuations and due diligence. I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification and live in Mumbai.
I am presently working as an independent consultant and developing an impact framework and social value study for an NGO focusing on children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Previously I was working as the COO and Project Lead at Social Lens Consulting and also acting as Senior advisor and COO at a pro-bono consulting NGO called ToolBox India Foundation. Before that I lived in Geneva, Switzerland for 2 years and did volunteer work for a food collection organization for the poor and homeless, gardening at an old age home and organising events at a single mother support centre. Prior to that, I worked in Investment Banking for 8 years with Morgan Stanley in London and Mumbai.
I do abstract paintings in my free time.
