With a passion for writing and art, my career was unusual for a Chemistry educated ,Human Resource professional.I spent almost a decade in the corporate world ,I took the plunge to entrepreneurship in 2011.Soon, my brand Ldecor, was the most selling brand in ebay, Amazon, Askmebazaar .I had all women strength who are creating 100% recyclable bedding accessories.Inspired by ‘Make in India ‘ I have established aproduction and weaving unit inline with the mission of “Farmer to Fabric to Fashion ” based in rural North East where we are producing Assam handloom Fabrics ,sarees,and attires to suit all.Ahmisa silk or Eri silk is my passion .The Eastern Diva is proud to have more than 1500 handloom lovers as clients from across the world.The Eastern Diva has partnered with north east stakeholder organization NEHHDC in a social entrepreneurship program to uplift lives of the weavers on the backward district of Bodoland in Assam.We are making this production unit as an export oriented hub. .As director of The Eastern Diva, I have been succesful identyfying sustainable cluster of ecofriendly products and provided much needed market link for the crafts.Our motto is promotion of Assam Handloom,and by retention of traditional artisan to keep the tradition alive.

*Awarded as “Iconic women creating better world for everyone ” at Annual Woman Economic Forum.
*Official Designer for Assam Handloom Saree collection,to NEHHDC,under DONER MINISTRY
*FEATURED IN Krishi Jagran Magazine,for developing niche market for Handmade crafts and furnishing items abroad.
Mentored and supported artisans in their projects to develop bamboo and cane products ,and provided market link and facilitated artisans to participate in national event.
L decor partcipated in North East festival ,Delhi very successfully ,also in INTACH ,Lodhi Estate,Msme expo Guwahati,Handloom exhibition are some exhibitions where we participated regularly.
