Daniel Soares de Oliveira graduated in Law (University of Lisbon, 1976), Lawyer (since 1977) and Master in Management (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 1989).
Is Head of CIP (Portuguese Business Confederation) President’s Office (since 2010) and Director of Corporate Communications (since 2002), and Deputy Director of the Magazine Industry (CIP official magazine).
He teaches at the European University (Crisis Management and Communication, Communication Counseling and Image, Protocol and Event Organization).
Author of works “Communication and Image in the Company” (edition of CECOA, 2005) and “Marketing Services”.
He was Secretary General of the CCP – Confederation of Trade and Services (1981-1984) and entrepreneur in the automotive sector (1993-2002). He chaired the European Association of Rover / MG / Land Rover Dealers and the ACAP Automobile Dealers Division. He was Vice-President of ACAP.
He began his career as a journalist. He was the founder of the weekly magazine Tempo (1975-1978) and commentator of national politics of RTP – Portuguese Television (1979-80).
