She have been working 20 years in the travel industry building a family business. Focused in sustainability She’ve led the company to become first 12 companies in Costa Rica to become carbon neutral. They where the first company to achieve Carbon Neutral Plus 2 years ago which means that not only are they working on our their carbon footprint and offset but also helping other business and leading the community to become as well. They are the first company in Central America to be Travel Life Certified as well as Rainforest Alliance. This has led her to build a new platform for the travel industry called Green her Experience where travel companies worldwide can measure their footprint of each tour they offer and offer a compensation project
for each of their guest, building a worldwide community on the subject of sustainability in a transparent way since all the projects supported are recorded on blockchain she’ve been in charge of the digital transformation within the company as well as implementing a culture. That has lead her to start other businesses and currently involved in digital marketing education, e-learning, digital transformation consulting, virtual reality experiences and women empowerment.
She created Pura Vida Retreats which focuses on wellness, empowerment and self improvement retreats in Costa Rica for small groups from different parts of the world. Currently testing an app called Pura Vida Training (Pure Life seems like a mantra to me!) which is a tool that helps trainers make routines and keep track and communicate easily with their clients. They are currently testing with 15 trainers and 150 clients to launch officially on a bigger scale in Latin America.
Involved with Entrepreneurs Organization, currently part of the global committee of strategic alliances and bringing Accelerator program to Costa Rica since She learned that the number of women in the organization grew because of this program.
Mentor for Google techstars in Madrid and also mentor for Greentech incubator a program supported by the Costa Rican government for startups in green technologies to help them grow and become leaders for the next economy.
