Clara Maxam

Clara Maxam is an animal science major at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She is passionate about research, education and agriculture. She has worked in a research laboratory studying reproductive physiology in livestock for the past two years where she has developed problem solving skills and independence. Clara plans to attend veterinary school after graduation where she will become a large animal veterinarian, with the dream of serving rural areas of New Mexico.
