I’m Chrissie Gregory the woman behind FaceByChrissie, a Make-up Artist & Transformational Coach/Inspirational Speaker.
I’m a lady with a wealth of experience, working within the beauty industry for over 25 years. I’m passionate about colour with a creative flair which embodies why I specialize in make-up artistry. I’ve worked for several premium cosmetic houses and owned my own spa over the journey of my career.
I love to give women the confidence to shine, so ensuring they look their best and can feel confident and empowered to be or do anything they want in life, is my mission. It’s so magical to see women falling in love with what they see in the mirror.
I also, give keynote speeches and work as a life coach with women to embrace the changes necessary in life to become more confident & successful in every area from personal growth to business success. As a board member of the Employment Skills Academy for hair/beauty students at Derby College, I regularly present workshops on the success principles to students and have held Health & Wellbeing Expo’s at the Roundhouse allowing students to participate at these events which I was accredited an award in 2017 for contribution. Working as a confidence coach/MUA with The British Empire Pageantry, allows me to prepare young women for the selection process i.e. interview skills and how to represent their countries and communities once presented with the title.
Through my own life experiences, I truly believe integrity, authenticity and respect are traits that a woman should embrace. I have plans to launch my own make-up line with a unique USP, to firstly launch a collection of highly pigmented colour cosmetics suitable for asian skins and secondly to include anti-ageing properties within the foundation collection that are prescriptive to a mature skin.
I know that make-up is superficial, but it seems to touch something deeper within. I personally think make-up is an amazing creation,that makes women feel a billion times better about themselves, which is powerful. If it wasn’t for make-up, I wouldn’t be able to express who I am today and that’s empowering.
