Dynamic professional with a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, offering over 27 years of cross-functional experience across a wide spectrum of operations with proficiency in Business Development, Strategic & Leadership planning and People Management; Worked in MNCs like HP, DIGITAL Global Soft, ITC etc for more than 15 years managing Global teams based in multiple countries

Currently heading as Managing Director, Radix Group of companies, head quartered in Bangalore. One of the group companies has set up the World’s first commercial food grade Bio CO2 plant in India. The group has one of the largest installed capacities to produce Bio CNG.
In recognition of her pioneering efforts Dr Chitra has been felicitated as “One of the four Women in Clean Tech” in Asia by ADB and UNIDO in 2018.
Mentor, with PFAN (Private Financing Advisory Network) under UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and REEEP (Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program). She mentors projects in the areas of clean energy, Energy Efficiency and Sustainable development in the geographies of Latin America, Africa and Asia. The projects she mentors normally have a ticket size of $5M – $50M. One of the projects she is mentoring is on track to become a “UNICORN”
She is associated with USAID to propagate the spread of production of Bio CNG using agricultural and animal litter as raw material. Her particular focus in on how to ensure increased profitability for Dairy Industry in ASEAN region with initial focus on Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia
Dr Chitra is advising a few ASEAN countries on generation of Bio Fuels from Landfills.
Dr Chitra along with IIT, Madras is researching on developing next generation Renewable hydro carbon fuels.
