A passionate individual who is putting continuous effort to promote the Northeast of India in UK.From Northeast of India born in Assam, Leader/Founding member of Luitporia Nasoni Group, a ladies dance group who promotes all types of tribes, folks and classical dances from Northeast India in UK and abroad . Secretary of NEICCUK ( Northeast India Cultural Committee of UK) , again the organisation passionately promotes all the cultural programme and the festivals from Northeast in UK, also connects with the Northeast Indian Diaspora in UK.
Luiporia Group have performed and showcased the Northeast India’s Tribes, Folks and Classical in various places like High Commission of India to UK , Trafalgar Square Diwali , Zee London Mela, Croydon Diwali Mela, Nehru Centre, Bhavan, House of Commons UK and In several occasions/venues.
NEICCUK have recently organised its very first Northeast Indian get together at High Commission of India to UK . The Northeast India meet was very successful and applauded by everyone who attended. This was done along with High Commission of India’s support.
Continuous involvement and engagement with various cultural organisations namely High Commission of India to UK , Incredible India , IIW , Bhavan , Akademi and other organisations to promote North East India Cultural Diversity in in UK.
North east India, one of the most beautiful region of India, also known as the “Eight Sisters”. It includes Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura states and Sikkim.
