Cheryl Barbara Acheampong

My name is Cheryl Barbara Acheampong, a graduate from the University of Sierra Leone with a degree in History major and Sociology minor. This under graduate course has equipped me with theoretical and practical skills needed to excel in the dual field of environment and development with solid foundation in rural community development, Research methodology, Social work, History, Communication skills and other related skills. I do have broad experience in leadership roles within emergency response operations, strong combination in organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver solutions in a pressurized, target/deadline driven environment. Activist roles on women rights, teenage pregnancy and early marriages. Represented Sierra Leone youth’s in various international seminars and an established trainer on women empowerment issues.
