The First Indian Woman to win a Special Recognition at the Prestigious Empretec Women in Business Award, instituted by UNCTAD for the year 2018 for Social Entrepreneurship in empowering and enabling skills of women and girls. Award received on Oct 25th , 2018 at the UN General Assembly Hall, Pales des Nations , Geneva One of 25 Woman Change-makers from India , selected by US Govt to participate in TechCamp South Asia 2018, Dubai Awarded as HiEERA ( High Impact Entrepreneur from Emerging Regions for Action) by Empretec India for 2018. Received the award from the Union Minister for Trade and Commerce, Sri. Suresh Prabhu on November 18, 2018 at New Delhi Selected as one of the eight women entrepreneurs from India on a three weeks study delegation as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) , fully funded by the US State Dept ,May 2019. She is a dreamer and do-er, multifaceted entrepreneur who likes works on initiatives which creates sustainable future for the world. She is a double Post graduate in management and Psychology and is now at the verge of completing her PhD in management. Her Phd topic is “Development of assessment tools for assessment of managerial softskills” and is registered at CUSAT. She has several academic publications in International journals in the field of HR , training, soft skills and employability. With over 14 years of professional experience in HR & Training, she has conceptualized and implemented various innovative initiatives in the field of education and training, especially in employability and career services. She is trained and certified in Entrepreneurial competencies by UNCTAD Empretec in 2016. She is a Master Trainer for Indian Career Education and Development Council (ICEDC) and has also undergone a Graduate Certificate Course in Career Education from Career Education Association of Victoria (Australia) . She is also one of the Mentors at KDISC. Her previous startup T4Trainer.com had been selected as a Nasscom 10K startup and had won good market response with the T4T brand becoming synonymous of a supplier of quality trainers. However, the startup failed in one year due to a hacking incident. But she did not quit and went ahead to become one of the successful women entrepreneurs in the state today! Her latest initiative is the Social Initiative Prayaana – Kerala’s first Employability, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Lab exclusively for women. Prayaana labs helps girls and women who want to kick start their career after break or want to set up a startup by providing mentoring, co-working space and other support . Prayaana hubs are being set up in various campuses throughout the state and helps young girls as well as women after career break to set up their career. Prayaana is now a community partner of Kerala Startup Mission and is also supported by various organisations as a hiring and training partner for their diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her goal is to empower one million lives by Dec 2030, through several of her training, skilling and entrepreneurship development initiatives. She is also a voice artist, radio host and a blogger during her free time. She has also been selected as one of the finalists at Grihalekshmi Mrs. Kerala 2018
She is now the CEO of 4Tune Factory – a Specialist Consulting company in HR , Skilling, Publishing and IT domain in India.
