Cecilia is the Principal and Founder of Eureka Ubuntu Coaching, an international consulting business with a focus on coaching and leadership development. Cecilia’s expertise builds on over – 20 years of experience working within the Canadian federal public service and the promotion of international cooperation with 8 Arctic states. She has contributed immensely in promoting the exchange of best practices in: northern governance, federalism, capacity building, trade, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. Cecilia’s work has taken her to Europe, China, Africa and Russia.
With a passion to bridge her public service experience with business and community work,
Cecilia augmented her academic education with certification from Erickson International Academy as a coach. Her techniques add value to mainstream methods by incorporating Ubuntu, a concept which purports that: Trustworthy individuals make trustworthy leaders.
This training is critical especially in our fast – paced globalized world where some cultures are losing their identity and humaneness!
Cecilia serves on the board of Initiatives of Change International – www.iofc.org a Swiss based global movement committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behavior towards a just and peaceful sustainable world. Her key responsibilities include the promotion of good ethical governance (public and corporate) and women economic empowerment.
