Captain Shweta Misra is an ex-Army officer and is one of those Indian ladies who were commissioned in the initial batches of Women’s Entry in the forces.
She is the Founder and Host of India’s top podcast, ArvindRama’s Podcast Service which has 2 million plus downloads as of July 2022. Capt Shweta Misra has authored books on the topics related to defense lady officers, CSR and creating shared values. She has several case studies, articles and columns published in reputed publications like The Tribune, Outlook, IndiaTimes, IJMSR etc. She has been Editorial board member in Defence Services Staff College journals and Tata Consultancy Services Maitri Magazine. As a media panelist, she can often be seen and heard on various channels namely NDTV, NDTV India, WION, DD News, Sansad TV, Rajya Sabha TV, Jan TV, BBC World Service etc. She is currently Delhi State President of Defence Council , Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is extensively into social service for the past few years in the field of gender equality and child rights activism. She was appreciated by the National Commission of Women on Gender Equality Awareness efforts. Niti Aayog certified her as the country’s top exemplary mentor in the Atal Innovation Mission.
