I am currently opening a female empowerment clothing brand based in the LA area, REDHOTCHIX. My whole motive is to inspire women to have an “aggressive” mindset and start making steps towards their goals. I am someone that is trying to create a different look on feminism as I am pushing women to be the change versus asking for the change. My mindset and mentality growing up has given me the strength, courage, and dedication to inspire others through my achievements and passion for business. Therefore, I figured I create a brand solely based on my mentality, passion for fashion, and the will to inspire women to feel empowered to take the next step in their lives, battle discrimination, and FEEL CONFIDENT that being a woman is nothing greater or less than being a male. I’m not asking women to be physically aggressive but mentally aggressive. Striving for equality and crushing stereotypes in regards to gender. As a woman, we face ongoing challenges/discrimination in regards to our biology, work, and personal lives. I personally hated watching women being bombarded with stereotypical remarks and watching women follow the “societal standard” of courtship. We are capable of anything and that’s what I am going to achieve with my brand. This brand will take steps in empowering women while educating men on equality/respect of women.
