Started law practice in October, with Khaitan & co., advocates and presently working and running an independent office along with associates. Have experience of handling litigation and advising clients in diversified areas since 1978. I have been in regular practice in Supreme Court since 1984. Have experience in drafting of Writ Petitions, Special Leave Petitions, and Statutory Appeals and giving opinions to clients. Also have experience of arguing both civil and criminal cases in the Supreme Court of India/ High Courts and various Tribunals. Have been regularly appearing before the High Court of Delhi and other High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, NCDRC, APTEL and COMPETITION Commission .

Standing Counsel for the State of Himachal Pradesh between the years 1989 to 1994.
Member FCAT (Film Certification Appellate tribunal)from 2015-17, Which hears appeals from orders passed by the Censor Board in the matters of Film Certification e.g. A, UA, U etc.
Presently Member of Disciplinary Panel NADA (Anti doping Panel )under the Sports Ministry of India.
Core areas of practice are Specialized Company Law, Tax, both direct and indirect (excise, customs and income tax), constitutional matters, land acquisition, mergers, arbitration law, original side and other commercial matters in Supreme court as also in the High Court, National Company Law Tribunals, COMPAT, APTEL etc.. Qualified, as an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India and have been in active practice for over 40 years. Handled multifarious and complex Litigations & Arbitrations for numerous Multi-nationals as well as Domestic clients, mediated disputes and negotiated several settlements. I have extensive experience of advising and handling litigations or arbitrations for Companies involved in manufacturing, processing, trading & import, real estate etc.
