Currently works as the Chief Executive of Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI), which is recognized as an institution of national importance by Government of India and one of the largest networks of civil society organizations in the world. She has worked with VHAI over last two decades in various capacities, across different issues of public health. Her areas of specialization are working with legislators for policy intervention and advocacy, implementing sustainable health and development programmes, managing large networks and public-private partnerships in health sector.

Among several Public Health initiatives, she also leads VHAI’s Tobacco Control programme, which focuses on advocacy and campaigns at national and state level. This programme has received WHO Regional Director’s Award for outstanding contribution in Tobacco Control. She is a member of several committees of the Central and State Governments.
