Aruna M Katara

Mrs. Aruna Mukesh Katara is the President of Hope Foundation and Research Centre, a Public Charitable Trust promoted by the FINOLEX Group. Hope Foundation and Research Centre (Hope Foundation) was established by her father Late Shri Pralhad P Chhabria, Founder Chairman, Finolex Group of Companies in the year 1979 to serve the society with twin motives of medical health accessibility for the needy section of society and to provide quality higher education and research in rural and urban India. The Educational and Research Divisions of Hope Foundation and Research Centre i.e. Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), Pune and the Pralhad P. Chhabria Research Center (PPCRC), Pune. She has over 22 years of hands-on experience in key performance areas like management, administration and facilitating in the expansion of the family-owned business, prior to dedicating her efforts towards the inception and actualization of her dream projects of providing quality education to the not-so-privileged student community. She assumed the role of being one of the key management members responsible for Infrastructure Creation, Material Procurement, Budget & Financial Management and optimum usage of available resources, Student Affairs, Estate Management, Business Development & Promotional Activities, Interpersonal & Public Relations, Academic & Research Collaborations with Foreign Universities, Maintenance and Administration, and other result oriented activities of creating world-class IT Facilities at the globally renowned International Institute Of Information Technology (I2IT), Hinjawadi, Pune.
