Aritra Sarkar

Aritra Sarkar, philosopher and technologist, is leading two lives. In the first, he’s CEO of Wedoria Technologies, a Kolkata-based digital startup. The company’s mission is to shape a barrier-free world where people can actually lead the lives they’ve always dreamed of. Its first product, MeVero, is a digital platform that enables people to discover their life purposes.
Aritra’s second life is that of a writer. He has just published ‘Goliath of Shenzhen,’ a cautionary tale set in contemporary China exploring the limits of freedom. This is the world’s first dual-facing novel–told in both visual and prose formats. Where you can choose your reading experience.
In his earlier role, he was VP-Strategy, ABP Group. He was responsible for the group’s transformation from a print company to a multimedia conglomerate with specific focus on new media.
In 2011 he launched a service called ABP ONE – an integrated marketing division that focuses on creative specialised marketing solutions for Eastern India.
A Graduate from New York University, he earned his stripes with Dow Jones & Co. during his stint there from 1999 to 2001 when he handled marketing research.

He is passionate about sports and fitness, enjoys travelling, reading and movies.
