Ar Aparna Rahul Mhetras is an Environmental architect & IGBC accredited faculty, having 21 years of professional and 10 Years of teaching experience. She did her B. Arch from Shivaji University in 1999 and M. Arch in 2015 from Pune University.
She has worked as the Project architect for Ruby Hall Clinic, Wanowrie, Pune an award winning project at Chaney Architects along with various National and International projects.
She also has her architectural practice in partnership as Maya Design Studio based in Pune.
Currently she is Head of the Department for M. Arch (Environmental Architecture) at D Y Patil School of Architecture, Lohegaon, Pune. With a keen interest in research, Environmental Psychology and History of Architecture she has written, published and presented papers at various research conferences.
She has received Best teacher award by Ajeenkya D Y Patil University- In Architecture for teaching, Research & Administration in year 2018 .
Founder member and Convener for two Editions of National Students Conference “Research In Architecture” hosted by D Y Patil School of Architecture, Lohegaon, Pune every year.
Committed to her job she shares a good rapport with her students and possesses good administration and research skills.
