Anthea Lowe

Principal, Data Success Marketing

Australia

Anthea’s 20 year career as a professional fundraiser in the Australian Not for Profit Sector career began with The Australian Freedom From Hunger Campaign – in particular their work in Bangladesh, Cambodia and Eritrea. It was a time for hearing stories too brutal for media to share, but which encouraged Anthea to continue to speak for those with no voice. Just as in business, integrity and respect for both those being helped and those standing alongside was crucial to presenting organisational visons in a way which caught people’s imagination and commitment. While communication was always the main purpose of her work, her data management and relationship marketing skills became crucial to increasing community resonance towards her employer’s goals. Life changes saw the development of her consultancy Data Success Marketing and these skills translated into a course presented for the WA Small Business Development Corporation in 2018 and 2019 called “How to find Customers Fast.” Anthea will show us how Being Creative in Business means to begin with data; be respectful, flexible, adaptable, and creative, while maintaining our core values and integrity; ending with passionate member, or customer, advocacy – whichever sector, or nationality, we are – because of our shared humanity.
