Speaker, Empowerment Coach & Author
Sue Curr is a Speaker & Empowerment Coach who prides herself on being able to inspire others to live their authentic truth. Fear LESS & LIVE More is a range of bespoke coaching & training solutions designed to enable others to view life through the window of opportunity as opposed to that of fear both by reprogramming the way they view themselves & their life and adopting the practices of forgiveness, gratitude, mindfulness & positivity as part of their daily lifestyle choices. Sue has 15-year background in the fields of education and social healthcare specializing in Mental Ill Health Awareness. She works tirelessly with people of all ages, enabling them to achieve their full potential and instilling in them the confidence to live life in their own way with both purpose & passion Enabling people in this way has become Sue’s own abiding passion and she takes pride in the fact that she not only can but does consistently help others turn their lives around by ‘Empowering Them To Have The Courage To Be Who They Really Are’ & with the notable exception of the birth of her children she is proud to list her success in this area as one of her greatest achievements and has been quoted as saying, “In the work I do, there is no greater sense of fulfillment and pride than that of seeing someone morph before your eyes as they come to understand that they alone have the power to create the reality of their dreams.’’ In her own personal experience, Sue struggled for the larger part of her life with severe Mental Ill Health issues borne on the back of a difficult & traumatic relationship with an at times physically abusive mother. The chronic self-doubt, almost non-existent self-esteem, and crippling emotional baggage she endured thus meant she often found it difficult to cope. Resulting poor lifestyle choices saw her spiral out of control descending ultimately into alcoholism, to the degree that she was ultimately faced with the very real possibility of not being around to witness the lives her children would come to carve out for themselves when she was told by her doctors that it was unlikely that she was going to survive due to liver failure, she subsequently found out that at the time of being admitted she was just 24 hours away from death! In that split second Sue instantly made a decision that IF by some miracle she did survive then things would change …and quickly…for the better. Four weeks later much to everyone’s astonishment including her own she walked out of hospital on her own two feet to reclaim her life and begin fulfilling the promise she had made herself just 4 short weeks earlier and to quote the song ‘’For the first time in forever’’ she was looking forward to a future she had come to believe she would never see. Although still dealing with the consequences of her formative years in the form of what is now known as Bi-Polar Disorder & OCD she considers herself to be happier & healthier than ever before. Through her speaking engagements. Workshops & 1:1 coaching programs Sue now uses her passion for life & living it to the full to enable others to understand that no matter the situation there is always, always hope & is eternally grateful that having ultimately learned how to live mindfully in the present, having learned from the past & to a future filled with renewed optimism and hope she can & does utilize her gratitude for the life she now leads to inspire others to do the same. Almost too late Sue came to understand that FEAR in & of itself had played a significant role in preventing her from living the reality of her dreams & today she’s redressing that balancing by enabling other people daily to understand that it is NEVER too late to rewrite the story of our lives & create the reality of our dreams.
