Senior Associate Editor, India Today Group / Co Founder at Whypoll
My journalism career spans 14 years across India and the United States -- I have reported and written on pretty much everything under the sun from technology, start-ups, health policy, alternate energy, debt-laden companies in the United States to real estate, politics and economic policy in India. I have worked with organisations like CNBC India, Inside Washington Publishers, Bloomberg UTV, India Today Group, besides being a news junkie and a policy wonk, I am also very interested in exploring tech-driven governance models in developing countries which will integrate citizens with government, it was to take this belief forward that I, along with a friend, started the Whypoll Foundation. Whypoll is using technology to make Indian cities safer for women -- we built the first woman safety mobile app and the first crowd-sourced safety map in India. Also wrote a book on failure last year, 'Why I Failed', which has remained on the bestseller list for a year.
