Saira Khan is a dynamic, highly competent and strategic person with demonstrable skills and technical experience in both the Corporate and NGO sectors. This experience was gained in Medical Healthcare, Early Childhood Development, Fundraising (International and National specializing in Public Private Partnerships ), Programme Development and Management, Advocacy and Human Rights, Strategy and Development (NGO and Corporate), Customer Service Delivery, International Development focusing on Fundraising, Strategic and Operational Management of Multiple departments/projects across several country programs, Financial Management (Budgets, Forecasting, Resource Management and Reporting), Organizational Change and Development as well as CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Mrs Khan qualified as a nurse and after a short stint there moved to the Corporate Sector where she excelled. In 2003, she moved to the NGO sector following a serious car accident in which her son was involved. He is brain injured and Saira had now dedicated her life to assisting poverty stricken children in need. She is currently the CEO of Stop Hunger Now SA and has led 2 major Mandela Day Campaigns being the MILLION MEAL challenge in 2015 and the Global FOLLOW THE SUN 10 million challenge this year (2016)

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
• She is a board member of the Central Gauteng Mental Health Society , Safer South Africa Foundation and Stop Hunger Now SA
•Advocated for Disability Rights Bill to be passed in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi during her tenure as Executive Director: Africa with International NGO Survivor Corps successfully;
• Pivotal in setting up partnership with relevant stakeholders in various employment positions across Africa;
• Managing and coordinating 3 country programs in the Great Lakes District of Africa (Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda) as well as developing and implementing the African Strategy for Survivor Corps (Previously LSN) and providing technical support to the Country Managers;
