National Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress
Priyanka Chaturvedi is the National Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress. She is a regular on television channels on various issues on Indian politics, women empowerment, child rights, education and health. She was a part of ISB's 10000 Women programme, a scholarship programme by Goldman Sachs for women entrepreneurs. Priyanka is a trustee of two NGOs that are closely working in the space of children's education and women empowerment. Priyanka contributes her opinion columns in various newspapers and online sites. Priyanka's book review blog is also amongst the top ten blogs on books in India. In 2015, she was nominated for and participated in Observer Research Foundation and Zeit Stiftung's programme Asian Forum on Global Governance. She was selected to be a part of a delegation of young political leaders chosen by the UK High Commission and CPA UK to visit London to understand their democracy better. She was also nominated to be part of American Council of Young Political Leaders delegation that visited Unites States of America to observe their eections. She has also been nominated to be part of AIYD delegation to Australia, for better India-Australia ties. She was named amongst the top 10 upcoming Indian women politicians by a leading Indian website. Priyanka was recently honoured with an award for Excellence in her field of work and for being amongst the Top 50 Inspirational Women in Maharashtra at a Women's Leadership Symposium.
