Founder and Director, Desiderata Impact Ventures
Pallavi is the Co-Founder of Desiderata Impact Ventures – a specialist intermediary firm that is bringing transformative approaches to solving critical development challenges. In her current role, she is supporting high-potential social innovations expand their impact across markets in the global south. Prior to this, Pallavi worked with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank, where she led the South Asia regional program on inclusive business. With a background in corporate sector, she has been focusing on bringing private sector led approaches to development and more specifically scaling social innovations to achieving scalable, sustainable development impact at the base of the pyramid. Pallavi has been listed among the “50 Most Impactful Social Innovators” globally in 2016 by World CSR and awarded with 2015 Africa Social Innovation Leadership Award and the World Bank Vice-Presidential Unit Award in 2014. Pallavi has an undergraduate in engineering and an MBA from XLRI.
