Laura Moschini is Ph.D in Political Doctrines and Women’s Issues. She teaches Citizenship, Social and Interreligious inclusion, Sustainability from a gender perspective at University Roma TRE and History of Women Citizenship and gender economic and social policies in Masters and several courses. She is GIO-Gender Interuniversity Observatory founding member. As expert she collaborates with EIGE-European Institute for Gender Equality (Vilnius), UNICA- Network of Universities of European Capitals (Bruxelles), Italian Presidency of the Council of the Ministers, DiCultHer Digital Cultural Heritage Arts and Humanities School, Italian Public Administrations including several Ministries, RAI- radio-television public service, professional bodies and trade unions for research and educational activities on Gender Mainstreaming and Empowerment implementation.
In particular she deals with research on methods, tools and best practices in the field of violence against women according to Istanbul Convention, Women and Media, Gender Economical and Sustainable policies (UN 17 SDG), break down the barriers between Humanities, Arts and Technologies for sustainable social and economic progress. She takes part in European projects with Mediterranean Countries too, and partecipates in conferences and seminars at national and international level; she is the author of books, essays and articles. In 2017, in New Delhi, she had the honor of receiving the WEF Award as Women of the Decade in Community leadership and Social Change.
