EDITH ANYIWO, is a graduate of Accountancy and a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, she worked for Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Limited for 19 years. She held various offices including; Head Treasure East, Senior Project Accountant, Soku Gas plant, Head Business Support Unit for Community Development Department. The later assignment is responsible for her passion and interest in the issues affecting the host communities including problems of Women and youths. There was an urge to address the issues that resulted in Youth restiveness, and marginalization of the woman specie. On retiring from Shell in 1999 she founded JEM ROYAL FOUNDATION that was to focus on the Development of Women and Youth through Advocacy, Mentoring and Skill Acquisition , she operated under two umbrella bodies, the ROYAL WOMEN and JEM ROYAL YOUTH VANGUARD. Since inception JEM Royal has lived up to its mandate and has empowered and trained up to 1500 women and youths. Edith ANYIWO is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and has written Articles including " Managing Change " She is a Consultant and offer training in Entrepreneurship Development to some government Agencies. She was the Director General of Oguta Local Government Small and Medium Enterprises Agency; where she trained and graduated over 1200 students in various skills and vocations. She is a widow and has four children .
