Africa is a continent filled with energetic and passionate people. If the world can scale up successful entrepreneurs in Africa by 2025, the mass migration and brain drain out of Africa will be stemmed massively. Having travelled widely across Africa meeting and impacting Entrepreneurs & I believe that one of the key ways to end poverty in Africa is by enriching the Micro SMEs & SMEs by capacity building them, providing the access to Data enabled phones, introducing them to Africa’s success stories, role models, entrepreneurs who have made it despite all odds.

During the TICAD 2016 Conference in Kenya. UNDP launched a Report that found out that…. Gender inequality is costing sub-Saharan Africa on average $US95 billion a year, or six percent of the region’s GDP – jeopardizing the continent’s efforts for inclusive human development and economic growth. “If gender gaps can be closed in labour markets, education, health, businesses, then poverty and hunger eradication can be accelerated” Achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment is the right thing to do, and is a development imperative” said UNDP’s Helen Clark
