A management practitioner, CSR thought leader and development expert having worked on leadership roles with industry, development sector and United Nations in India and abroad, Aparna has been a UNDP International Technical Expert, UNDP Somalia, Kenya; UNDP India Country Specialist and UNDP India Consultant on Private Sector/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Advisor, Corporate Communications, TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) India, and CSR Programs Specialist, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UAE. Currently, she is Director, Partnerships and External Relations, Sehgal Foundation, Gurugram. In her career spanning several years, Aparna worked on specialized assignments with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), IIT Delhi and Nestle India Ltd. She holds MBA degree and World Bank Institute, USA, Certificate in CSR and sustainable competitiveness. Aparna has several publications to her credit, including being an expert contributor author of two books on *World Guide to Sustainable Enterprise* and *World Guide to CSR*, published by Greenleaf Publishing, UK, in 2016, and 2010, respectively. She has been an invited speaker at many national and international conferences in CSR and development issues, and has been a Grand Jury Member of eNGO Challenge South Asia Awards 2014. Aparna is nominated as a Sustainability and Social Responsibility (SSR) International Fellow, UK, and an invited Honorary Life Member of All Ladies League.
