Anne-Marie Melster (Co-Founder and Co-Director, Office Spain) is a curator & art writer, academic and consultant for art/environment/education. She is a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts (Polytechnic University of Valencia), the University of Hamburg and the Universidad Veritas in San José, Costa Rica and is collaborating with the Ringling College of Art + Design, Sarasota (Florida). She consults for international galleries and artists. She contributes to the art magazines exibart (Italy), Miami Art Guide, Weltkunst (Germany), artspace.com (New York City) among others. With her former company, Art & Culture Projects, she has managed contemporary art galleries, developed artist residencies in Hamburg and Düsseldorf (Germany), organized the cultural program of the renowned Collection Falckenberg in Hamburg, and published catalogues and artist books. She consulted for young collectors of contemporary art, establishing their collections and developing communication strategies. Anne-Marie Melster was the personal and artistic assistant of Reinhold Würth, one of Europe’s most important collectors and art patrons. She also consulted for the Carbon Challenge Foundation who focused on sustainable management. She curates and organizes exhibitions, video projects, performances, workshops, panels and educational collaborations in various countries worldwide. She holds an MA in Art History, Spanish Philology and Political Sciences from the University of Hamburg.
