Ángel Melguizo

I am Vice President International External & Regulatory Affairs for AT&T DIRECTV Latin America, based in Bogota, Colombia. I am responsible for the company positioning on key regulatory topics for the digital transformation in the region. Before joining AT&T/DirecTV, I was Head of the Latin American and Caribbean Unit at the OECD’s Development Centre. I also worked as Lead Specialist in the Labor Markets and Social Security Unit at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Senior Adviser at the Economic Bureau of the Spanish Prime Minister, and Principal Economist at the BBVA Financial Group. My research topics cover fiscal policy, new technologies and long-term economic growth, labour markets and pensions, mostly in Latin America and Europe.
