Dr. Amira El-Dib is the Assistant Director of the Career Development department at The American University in Cairo AUC. She has more than 17 years of experience in training and administration she is responsible for managing the offerings that are designed to bridge the gap between the academic education and the job market needs. Along her career path as a trainer, administrator and career advisor, she serves more than 8000 learners every year and mentoring more than 100 trainers working at the department.

Dr.El-Dib graduated from faculty of Pharmacy and pursued her post graduate studies in Marketing, HR, and Business Administration at the American University in Cairo. She holds MBA in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and Logistics and post graduate diploma in TQM in Healthcare, (AUC). She is a Certified Performance Improvement Professional (CPIP)-KPI institute, Certified Master Instructional Designer- (ATD-USA), Certified Talent retention and acquisition-Pennsylvania state university and she is a Certified Entrepreneurship faculty- Wadhawni Foundation-India. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Human Resources Management and Performance Management.

Dr.El-Dib is a member in the Asian Regional Development and Training ARTDO (Malaysia), member in the scientific committee and published editorial of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Women Economic Forum-UK, All women league-India and Lead5050-Germany.

Dr.El-Dib received many award along her career path for excellence in Teaching AUC’s SCE from like “Teaching Honor Roll” of SCE-AUC for years 2008-2019. “Merit Award for Excellence in Teaching” from AUC for years 2010-2017 and “Shukran Award” from AUC President in 2016. In 2019 she was nominated for Lead5050 Award to empower and recognize the most active 50 women in the international education. As well she was nominated for “Arab Women Excellence and Leadership” award in UAE. Finally she is one of the judges of Egypt Government Excellence Award that recognizes the best practices in the governmental sector.
