Co-Founder, Impact Hub Geneva and Lausanne
Amanda Byrde is an entrepreneur based in Geneva. Passionate about social entrepreneurship and circular economy, she co-founded Impact Hub Geneva and Lausanne, where she is developing new approaches to connecting the private sector, the international community and entrepreneurs for sustainable impact. She is also the co-president of Impact Hub Switzerland, and the co-initiator of Circular Economy Transition, a pioneer initiative implemented across 5 cities in Switzerland.
Originally from Honduras, to which she remains particularly attached culturally, she has been engaged in several development projects and successfully fundraised for initiatives supporting the street children since a very young age.
She holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on microfinance from Geneva University, and has previously worked in an asset management company specialized in emerging markets.
