Alix O Hara

Alix is a young innovator and inspiration to women inventors everywhere. She is a CEO | Conscious Capitalist | Candidate for Kurrajong at Australian Climate Change Justice Party. She believes that if any enterprise is just a scalable, profitable solution to a common problem, then it follows that our most significant global challenges are also our greatest commercial opportunities.
She designs scalable, evidence-based commercial solutions to some of our greatest nutrition-based population health challenges; namely concerning infant obesity intervention, and aged care malnourishment.
Both pivot on methods and insights enabled by her patented, multi-award winning invention and foundation technology Mashblox(R), an elegantly simple but unique self-feeding tool.
Alix has used Mashblox to engage leading experts from four Universities worldwide with her pioneering thesis that ‘How we are taught to eat, and how much, is at least as important to health outcomes as What we eat’. She is currently preparing to undertake a practice-based PhD on this subject, whilst promoting Mashblox for the future of all children’s and families’ health.
