Alina started Mitti Cafe at the age of 23 with the dream of showing the world the magic of abilities. Mitti Cafes provide experiential training and employment to adults with physical, intellectual and psychiatric disability. The organisation’s outreach initiative helps create awareness about inclusion and disability rights.
Alina is a Tedx speaker, has been featured in the Forbes list of 30 under 30 Asia, and is a Commonwealth Youth Awardee.She has recieved the Niti Aayog-Women Transforming India Award, Hellen Keller Award, United Nations Intercultural Innovation Award,Karnataka Women Achievers Award, Times of India-She Unlimited Award, Rotary Exemplar Award, Microsoft Nipman Award, Tiecon Young female Entrepreneur of the Year Award, amongst others.
