Ms. Akta Sehgal is the founder and mentor of Manas Wealth- A financial distribution and training firm. In addition to this Akta is also the founder of some social initiatives like Vanyas Craft – Handmade cards, Motherhood Club, Kid-do-mentoring and MCube.
She also holds an honorary position on the Board of Director Samachar 24 plus
Akta is a financial mentor and has over 20 years of experience in the field of financial services and has dealt with corporate, individuals and children. She runs a third-party distribution firm called Manas Wealth and is AMFI certified.
She believes in three E’s -Educate Empower and Enlighten and Three P’s- Passion Perseverance and Panache’.
She is extremely passionate about imparting financial awareness to one and all. An avid blogger, a keen learner with a never, never say attitude, and has been pursuing her passion of creating an environment of learning across the spectrum. She recently under her Banner Motherhood club hosted 1st Wonder Mom Felicitation and felicitated 81 Mothers across the globe for the unconditional support they extend in shaping the future. She hosts Three Talk Shows – Motherhood Club Talk Show, Kiddomentoring Talk Show and Learning Initiative Mcube – Money Mentoring and Motivation.
Thru her Motherhood club she and her team have distributed more than 1,5000 packets of sanitary pads each packet having 7pads each across Banaras, Delhi, Noida, Bhopal ,Dehradun, Faridabad, Tribes of Karnataka and Assam . All this is done by fund raising. Motherhood club has recently donated two Sanitary Pad Vending machine in Noida and one in Delhi.
She has worked with some prominent names during her corporate stint, she started her career with a regional brokerage house Tower Capital and securities Pvt. ltd in Mumbai and has worked with HDFC Bank, Citi Smith Barney,Barclays.
She runs three dedicated financial mentoring programs called
1. Wo- Mentoring on Money Matters
2. Fin-Mentoring on Money Matters
3. Kiddo-Mentoring On Money Matters
So far she has trained more than 8000 women, 2000 men and 150 students across age group thru the offline mode and countless thru the weekly virtual sessions she conducts
She writes simple and easy to understand blogs on financial matters to create awareness. In addition to all of this, she has a series of radio episodes in collaboration with Salaam Namaste a community Radio channel based in Noida Ghaziabad to create financial awareness. She has ,15 Anthologies of English and Hindi Poem and stories and has received many awards for her poetry at local and national level. She also has co compiled two anthologies of which one is dedicated to cancer warriors
Akta has been conducting weekly mentoring session on Money Matters thru her Facebook Page Manas Wealth ( (5) Manas Wealth | Facebook) Since November 2020 and has covered varied
aspects and has given sessions on multiple platforms to encourage and mentor more and more women to embark on the journey called investments, these sessions are a result of her passion and vision to make India Financial literate as the current rate of Financial Literacy is just 26 %. She has been organising sessions for kids and taking a few to support the #qualityeducation Goal no 4 of the sustainable development goals. She feels that financial literacy can only increase if basic literacy level goes up across the spectrum and age group
