Khidki envisions to eliminate malnutrition among children aged 0-6 years by innovating in development, distribution and provision of food supplements and engaging the community in behavioral change towards healthcare. Currently running its pilot in the slums of New Delhi, Project Khidki works in tandem with the government’s Integrated Child Development Scheme along with Anganwadis as the grassroot implementation for sensitization. With multiple entrepreneurs chosen and employed from within the community to synthesize the requisite natural supplements, Khidki aims to achieve complete community led management of acute malnutrition.
