Adriana Potomati
Biologist & Entrepreneur
Adriana Potomati is a mother, a wife, a biologist as well as a master and entrepreneur in real estate building. She is a specialist in Public Politics and Environment and has been the Joint General Director of São Paulo’s Botanical Institute, where she developed programmes and projects together with the World Bank, inplementing new politics and legal instruments to save and conserve biodiversity. She has always believed in associativism as being fundamental to a participative democracy and the best way towards the organization and construction of a fairer society.
She has been a volunteer for the past 12 years at the Commercial Association of São Paulo and currently is the coordinator of the Women’s Council, defending women’s entrepreneurship. She has recently been invited to be Brazil’s All Ladies League Chariperson, which is the largest international Women’s organization. Her mission is to include Brazilian women, through her experience in entrepreneurship, connecting them to this worldwide web called Women Economic Forum. She aims to encourage women to assume their Leading Roles in current society, creating more parity and collective intelligence to the challenges of entrepreneurship today. The world can no longer do without women’s competence and soul, since they are 51% of the world population and make 80% of all buying decisions.
