Co founder and CEO of HelpNow, Aditya Makkar is bringing a much needed change in India’s Medical Emergency Response systems. HelpNow aims to reduce the medical help arrival time by 10 times, from 30 to 3 minutes. It is creating India’s fastest, largest and most patient centric network of Medical transportation. The platform has got more than 350 medical vehicle registrations and have collaborated with top hospital chains of India. The team led by Aditya, got into the semifinals of Asia’s largest B-Plan competition and have been asked to implement their model of ‘Cab medification’ on all 200 cabs of Auroville-Pondicherry. They are launching soon with their own helpline number in Powai Area in Mumbai. Prior to HelpNow, Aditya founded and scaled ‘The BrainSplat’ a venture aimed at bringing innovative, hand-on testing and olympiads to some of the top schools of the nation. A passionate innovator with love for solving real world problems, he was awarded with a National Award by the President of India for his more than 12 patent pending technological devices and innovations.A student at IIT Bombay, he serves as Cultural Secretary for his hostel and started ‘CampusPEDAL- A $10/semester pick and Drop Cycle service for 24×7 campus wide use’.
