About WEF-West Midlands, 2020

About WEF – West Midlands, 2020

Women Economic Forum – West Midlands, on 31st July, 2020, is a one day event on the theme “Arise & Shine And The Streams”. We expect 200+ women, supportive men and young leaders to join us over the one day including 100+ speakers from 20+ countries. Women trustfully supporting Women : Traditionally we, women have been taught to be distrustful of one another due to scarcity of top jobs. It’s clear that strategy doesn’t work. The truth is that supporting one another raises us up collectively and channels the power of collaboration which is truly how we’ll change the spiralling equation… and have a lot more fun along the way. We need to reverse the stereotype that women don’t support other women. Studies unequivocally show that women supporting other women are more successful in business and happier in private life. We invite all the Soul sisters to join us on WEF West Midlands, 2020 in Birmingham, UK on July 31st 2020, and bring studies of unity and support into reality. Let’s empower our Pack!

Youth Outreach

We have an active outreach to youth in communities, schools, colleges and universities as our girls and boys are indispensable partners in delivering the change we wish to see for parity, peace and progress for All. Testimonials from university leaders are below:
“It was amazing to see delegates from more than 100 countries participate and share their journey. The stories about their struggles and how they overcame barriers and stereotypes, prior to being successful, touched each one of us. …. The forum afforded an amazing opportunity for the NMSU delegation, students, staff, and faculty to interact with global leaders. This experience is invaluable in developing further as global leaders.” – Rolando A. Flores, Dean College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, New Mexico State University, USA
“A truly outstanding and eye opening event! I felt honored to speak at the WEF with so many of the most accomplished and amazing women in the world in attendance and as speakers.” – Richard D’Aveni, Bakala Professor of Strategy, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, USA.

WEF – 5WCW Mission Million 2022

We have also announced MISSION MILLION in India for 2022, gathering women of the world in solidarity. Mission Million is aimed at connecting a million women entrepreneurs and supportive leaders worldwide as an empowering sisterhood and inspired community, toward opening up exponential opportunities for connections and collaborations in a spirit of parity, peace and prosperity for All.

This would be a follow up on previous United Nations world conferences for women, held in Mexico in 1975, Copenhagen in 1980, Nairobi in 1985, and the 4WCW in Beijing in 1995 where 12000 women representative from across the world came together.

25 years hence, since the UN has not yet moved toward a 5th World Conference for Women – which would serve as a modern milestone for the journey and growth of women empowerment in our times, we have thus envisioned the 5WCW as WEF – 5WCW Mission Million 2022 with the goal of having a million women worldwide gather for a 5th World Conference of Women originating in India in 2022.

For Mission Million 2022, WEF events will be held in India and simultaneously ALL over the world along with members and partners in at least 1000+ cities from October – December 2022 showcasing women empowerment, solidarity and sustainable change through rallies, walks, seminars, conferences and creative interventions and of course in India.

We invite your organisation to Partner with the Mission Million as Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Partner.
