WEF-Iceland, 2017 “Gender Equality – Towards He For She & She For He”
WEF- Iceland, 19-20 October, 2017 is a two day event on the theme “Gender Equality – Towards He For She & She For He”.Some of the topics that will be covered are: Gender Equality – Towards He for She & She for He, A Sustainable World: Reducing Gender Based Violence Holds The Key, Women’s Access to Finance Across Countries: Pitfalls & Paths, Women on Executive Boards & as CEOs: What do The Trends Indicate, Gender Fulfillment & Partnership, Stereotypes, Mindsets & Silent Oppressors, Exploring & Addressing Diverse Inequalities, Us & Them: Reducing the Distances in Our Hearts & Minds, Teachers & Parents: Need for a Partnership, Closing the Gender Gap: Entrepreneurship as Leveling Field, Models of Good Governance, Implementing Women’s Voices: Structures & Platforms, Enabling Youth Connections for Changes in Mindsets, The Challenges of a Disrupted Media: What Can We Do as a Civil Society, Equality at Home & Parenting Practices, Policies & Practices for Balanced Sharing of Responsibilities & Rights. The two day WEF- Iceland 2017 is expected to gathering of over 200 inspiring women. We will have women entrepreneurs and leaders joining in from the European, Nordic and Baltic regions, along with women from Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean. The inauguration of the event will be by the legendary ex-President of Iceland, Fru Vigdís Finnbogadottir, who was re-elected four times and was also the first elected woman head of state anywhere in the world. The forum is also in a house called Veröld at the University of Iceland that was built in her honour.

ABOUT ANNUAL WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM 2018
The annual WEF in India is a mega marquee six day galactic gathering held each year in New Delhi in last week of April or early May. Regional WEF conferences are held in different countries throughout the year and around the world to focus on issues concerning that region.The annual WEF 2018 is from April 26th to 1st May, 2018 in New Delhi on the theme is “The Economics of Goodness: Empowering Potential, Engineering Change.” The annual WEF 2018 will attract over 2000 women from 150 countries making it the largest ever diverse global event.
