Aadya Joshi

Aadya Joshi is a Grade 11 student at the American School of Bombay. Aadya is passionate about restoring native biodiversity and natural ecosystems in urban environments. In 2018, she founded The Right Green (www.therightgreen.org), an organization whose mission is to spread awareness about the vital ecological links between native plants, insects, and birds that are essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems. She regularly conducts workshops for school children, adults, corporates and municipal authorities, and facilitates the development of native biodiversity gardens. Aadya is also a budding researcher; a musician with training in Hindustani vocal and Western cello and enjoys the outdoors.
