Gururaj T S is the quintessential intrapreneur. It took but a short leap of faith to jump from the intrapreneur to the entrepreneur bandwagon.
The former country head of Oracle Consulting, a senior technology & engineering professional with over 33 years in digital transformation, management and manufacturing, in executive leadership roles, is currently working on ideas for his own technology start up. He also mentors a couple start-ups – one in cyber security and another in the social enterprise space – in areas of design thinking, Go-to-Market & product market fit.
At Oracle as country head, he turned around a difficult India business to the most profitable growth region in APAC, became the largest SAAS implementer in India and was instrumental in transforming the region to an 80% Cloud business.
A graduate from Manipal Institute of Technology, Guru started his career in the manufacturing sector. He spent a successful decade with Wipro’s Infrastructure Engineering where he set up a greenfield manufacturing facility. It was a fluid move from one Greenfield facility to another that he set up for his next employer, a German automotive component manufacturing MNC, Hugo Kern Liebers, and from an automotive component manufacturing to IT Consulting at Oracle.
Guru has an executive MBA from TAPMI and certifications in strategy & execution at Ross School of Management, Michigan, IESE Business school Spain and Franklin Covey Institute, USA.
