Danijela Brecko

dr. Danijela Brečko has been the Executive Director at Sofos, the Institute for Knowledge Management and Talent Development since 2015. She finished a PhD in the University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Philosophy), where she previously obtained a master’s degree in adult personal development. She acquired her business knowledge as part of additional training courses such as the 7-week General Management Program, which she completed at IECD Bled. She has developed leadership and moderating skills in the role of director of Planet GV for 15 years. Today she is Assistant Professor for Management at MLC – Faculty of Management and Law and Assistant Professor of Education and Human Resources Management at Doba Faculty. In 2018, she has started the course Human Resource Development Planning at the Faculty of Philosophy in Ljubljana.

Experience / References: Over 25 years of teaching and training experience and over 15 years of moderation and coaching experience. He lead trainings of management, personnel management, event management, training management and personal development. She associates her teaching and coaching work with her own research and is registered to pursue a research activity. She is the author of 7 professional books (How we change adults, Planning a career as a dialogue between an organization and an individual, Developing personal social capital, 40 modern teaching methods…), and author of over 250 professional articles. She actively co-created the Human Resources Standards as part of her activities at the Slovenian Human Resources Association. Since 2016 he has been leading the national project Organizational Energy.
