Shweta Shalini

Shweta Shalini originally from Ayodhya is a BJP leader, Advisor to Chief Minister of Maharashtra and one of the Official Spokespersons of the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). She was instrumental in setting up Mukhyamantri Mitra across Maharashtra ushering in an era of accountability in governance. A Founder of two hugely successful IT Start-ups, she has been Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 before taking the plunge into politics. She is Executive Director of Maharashtra-Village Social Transformation Foundation chaired by the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra with the ambitious goal of transforming the 1000 most backward villages in the State. She is also one of the key advisors on matters concerning policy in the premier think tank of the Government of India – Niti Aayog.
