A visionary and pioneer, Disha created the first poetry tour in The Bahamas, which is currently the largest poetry event in the country.
Possessing over a decade of experience in the arts, she marries her passion for spoken word and her captivating eye for photography to create poetic images and compelling compositions both lyrically and visually.
Disha’s heart is in the Bahamas, yet her impact is global by way of her work with The Woman Behind the Business, where she currently serves as the Ambassador to the Bahamas, and sits on the Board of Directors. The Woman Behind the Business is a Washington, DC-based non-profit organization that creates opportunities for female entrepreneurs across the globe.
