Sharda Balaji is the Founder of NovoJuris Legal, boutique law-firm focused on investments, technology companies and corporate advisory. In the last 8 years, NovoJuris has worked with more than a thousand businesses including high profile unicorns and exits. NovoJuris is ranked as India’s No.1 in early stage and venture capital investments.
Sharda earlier has worked with large Indian conglomerates and MNCs as their inhouse attorney on various projects including IPO, cross border transactions, M & A, takeover, mergers, intellectual property for more than 12 years, prior to starting NovoJuris. Sharda is an Independent Director at Faiveley Transport, world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of railway products. Faiveley is listed on NYSE Euronext Paris.
Sharda continues on the advisory board for many technology and tech enabled companies. She is an active angel investor in more than a dozen companies and is an investor in accelerators such as HealthStart, India’s first accelerator focused on healthcare. She also chaired TiE’s Special Interest Group on Women entrepreneurs.
